Randomness…
Spring is finally here-I think. It is Ohio, so it would not surprise me if winter makes a last ditch effort. I have a single daffodil blooming, the grass is bright green again and the forsythia is starting to bud. I also bought two pots of tulips tonight for the kitchen table.
Ryan bought a Corvette. A black, shiny Corvette. Hopefully he’ll sell the bike now. He is very excited about it. It is hard for me to be ‘excited’ about things like that because I don’t see them or get the use of them (he’s in Texas) and I just don’t care much about vehicles. All I ask is that they work when I want them to, otherwise, I don’t give them a lot of thought.
Tomorrow I should have pictures. I am going to a rabbit and guinea pig show with my cousin in hopes of finding a baby male to befriend Miles (that is what I named the guinea pig).
Today I got a lot done in the house. The bedroom and living room carpets are vacuumed and shampooed. The dining room curtains are washed. The living room and bedroom are dusted. The laundry is done except for a few random things. As soon as I decide to be productive again there will be sheets on the bed and the aquarium might possibly get cleaned and moved.
I think hot chocolate might help with that…
What I didn’t need…
Was this:

But he is here now. I haven’t decided on a name. He came from the Warren County Humane Society.
Gurney is mostly ignoring him, except when he starts ‘popcorning’. (You can find videos of this on YouTube, but it’s a *hop, hop, bolt, stop, repeat* type thing.) Then he just watches and whines.
Paul won’t give it up trying to get him. I am not sure if he is playing or not, but I would prefer his paws not be reaching into the cage.
In other news…
Clinton County received 14 inches of snow last weekend. In two days. It sucked for driving and other general transportation (like walking). Gurney quite enjoyed it though and that led to my new favorite photo of the moment.

While he might look cold, and he might’ve been, he was having a great time. What he was doing was hopping through the deep snow (that was before it got too deep to walk in) then flipping around and digging in the holes he had just made.
I am having two wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow. I am also taking my car in to get the brakes changed. They are making the most nerve wrenching grinding noise. For the record, I have not put this off, they started this Tuesday or Wednesday of last week with no previous warning I recognized and believe me, I complain about car noises. So it should prove to be a fun and expensive day.
Anyway, I should go get ready for church now.
